Bullying in the Workplace

Any number of issues can affect all parties within the workplace, especially bullying. Of recent note in New Zealand is bullying being common within the public service and health sector, as reported in the Waikato Time article published 13 September 2012.

The article cites the results of a Victoria University study that surveyed more than 7000 female Public Service Association members working in big organisations such as DHBs, central or local government. The study was looking at workplace democracy in general. A significance for organisational management is that the study's survey found many managers saw victimisation as a way to get things done.

Services for Employers

Services provided are also for employers seeking a stable workplace environment for their employees. This may involve requirements for induction, employment agreements, employee performance, standard operating procedures for business process management systems and quality assurance.
