Investing in ISO start-up?
Save time and money with Achieve immediate results.

The core competencies of Premier Strategics is analyzing business unit processes and mapping out the best practices. This involves documenting processes before implementing major technology systems, resulting in significant gains and enormous return on investment.

Documenting processes creates a realistic project plan for development and implementation of technology or other business systems.

Our core principles come from organisational development, behavioral sciences, business communications and training development. A phrase we have coined is 'Technology Performance Interface'. It means that end-users can competently master the intended purpose of programs produced by technology software developers.

An aspect of excellence is being a software design and development team member for systems analysis and producing end-user documentation, also facilitating training as required employing the principles of Instructional Design."

Major functions for clients include coaching in process analysis and improvement methodologies, also analysis of senior management job functions for performance purposes. This includes one-to-one mentoring in best business practices for purposes that include continuous improvement. Instructional design is a skill that we are qualified and fully experienced in, with results that are renowned around the world.

 Technology and Performance Interface

Our core competencies include:

  • Technology process analysis
  • Business systems analysis
  • Business process development
  • Knowledge and skills development, inclusive of instructional design

'Beating the drum, blowing the trumpet.....'

Technology process control analysis, an example:

Within a lumber mill to be operated using computer distributed control system [DCS] work stations, performed analysis of processes during construction. Interaction with software designers and construction engineers resulted in documents for training prior to start-up with 100 percent production achieved on day one of commissioning.

The company that supplied the electronically controlled plant stated we had solved a worldwide problem, getting people to understand how to operate the plant through use of analysis and documentation. He subsequently sought proprietary ownership of the documents.

During construction of a $48 million plant, our process control system analysis saved many thousands of dollars before start-up by identifying incorrect process flows in the DCS software design. Analysis also identified incorrect pipework and valving. We produced documents technically written for operator training that enabled successful start-up for them.

Business systems analysis, an example.

Performed analysis of systems within a company having a number of business units. Mapped out the most efficient processes and documented them in a standard format. This met the needs of the:

  • Organisation
  • Teams
  • Individual competencies
  • Safety and health in employment
  • New Zealand's legislation for employer liabilities insurance

Business process development, an example.   Scoped business opportunity for technology controlled plant, inclusive of cost modelling, consumables, people resources and location. First year of operation achieved forecast results consistent with business plan.

  Continuous improvement process
  • Process Mapping, identifying what is happening now.
  • Process Analysis and Redesign, planning for change.
  • Why-Why Tool, structure brain-stormed ideas toward problem root causes.
  • Cause and Effect Analysis, for potential causes of problems or issues.
  • Forcefield Analysis, enables strategy development to overcome forces resistance to change.
  • "IS/ IS NOT" Tool. for improving existing systems.
  • Effective Meetings within organisations that are objective and results-oriented
  • Problems Solving implementation tools
  • Vision and Mission Statements structuring for objectiveness, achievability and measurability
  • Benchmarking-Guidance to getting it right, including e-commerce

Our qualification and experience in these best business practice concepts is nearly twenty-five years, and also as a qualified Tutor in the application of them by others in your organisation.

The system is also applied for development of computer e-learning modules that result in objective, achievable and measurable interactive courses.

Interacting with subject matter experts, our skills development methods apply to:

  • On-job training
  • Health and safety in employment
  • On-going reference purposes

Our competency in the system of Instructional Design enables training methods that ensures new learning is applied immediately on the job in a practical sense to produce immediate production results. This includes users of new or modified IT software programmes and e-learning The end result is achieved through attaining the written standards in our five EXCLUSIVE documents:

  • Introduction to Competency-based Training
  • Job Process Analysis Guide
  • Technical Writers Guide
  • Training Administration Guide
  • Training Handbook
